If you’ve ordered from Pistol Pete’s in the past you may have noticed your items arrive in some tightly wrapped, home conditioned looking packaging that appears to have been put together by your local hillbilly. Wondering, what in God’s name is this…. Then you open your box to find a nicely wrapped item from your friends at Pistol Pete’s and everything is perfect! Well, that’s because we recycle our shipping boxes whenever possible.
Yes, we do often offer that hillbillyish looking wrap job as part of the theme of Pistol Pete’s. Hell, you might even be lucky enough to receive a Walmart shopping bag or two as protective filler. Trust me, Walmart bags have special protective powers, that’s all I’m sayin. We do this because we care about the earth. We love the outdoors, the trees, mother nature, and we see no reason not to reuse and recycle perfectly good shipping containers and Walmart bags.
Just because your package measures in at 4 x 6 x 10 x 7.5 and by 4 again, doesn’t mean we are crazy, it means we are doing our part.
We often try to source boxes from local business, we use wrapping contents from shipments we receive and from home when we receive junk mail. Did you receive coupons to the grocery store or get an offer for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue?! Congrats!
